Using a halogen oven is as healthy as having organic food. Excellent if you want meals double quick. Comes with useful recipe book but is easy to use for simple meals. It is a large item however and does take up a fair amount of counter space if you have a small kitchen, also the top [lid] will burn the counter if you don't use the special stand which takes up more space.

A few things about it annoy me though. The halogen bulb sits in such a position that the light shines brightly through the glass area of the lid, thus completely dazzling anyone who is nearby. To remedy this I have had to make a sunshade type of thing out of foil to put around on the outside of the glass lid.
Secondly, the two metal racks are much more flimsy than the ones my old halogen oven had. They bend under the weight of a joint of meat, and they flip over if you catch the edge of them. They also rattle very annoyingly at times. Lastly, the lid is slightly too small diameter wise to fit perfectly in the glass bowl rim.
