Following the 'New Krypton ' event, the villain who can do anything his can Tess is a very enigmatic character who wants to befriend Clark Kent just like Lex did, although she distrusts him, Tess finds in the arctic the mother crystal that can rebuild the Fortress of Solitude and uses it to find an answer about the disappearance of Lex but with this she calls Maxima who attacks her and names her Krypton something that leaves Tess very intrigued, who seeks the help of Chloe Sullivan and his powers to help her with the artifact.
When Chloe agrees at Clark's request it is stolen from her by someone named X presumably Lex who tells her that she is not ready yet. Tess in the past had a relationship with Oliver , as they were kidnapped by drug traffickers on an island where Oliver learns to use a bow and arrow and takes them out of there; Later they had a relationship that ended in enmity and now Oliver distrusts Tess for being associated with Lex.

Tess was nearly killed by Clark when he was infected with gemstone kryptonite, who believed Tess murdered the clone of his father.
Following the conclusion of the show, Smallville was revived in as a comic. In this story it is revealed that Clark has given up his powers and he and Lois live on the Kent farm. While it is possible that Smallville could be revived once more, it is very unlikely.
